The Philippine Information Agency (PIA) features WTA and the EQF Team for their efforts in donating and constructing two EQFs in the AFP Medical Center.
PASIG CITY, April 23 (PIA) – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) received two Emergency Quarantine Facilities (EQF) from a team of architects on Wednesday at the AFP Medical Center, V. Luna in Quezon City.
AFP Deputy Chief Engineer Colonel Arnfin Arce led the ceremonial turnover and blessing of the facilities situated inside the AFP Health Service Command.
According to the AFP, the EQF is a construction project designed and led by Architect William Ti, Jr. of WTA Architecture + Design Studio with other architects and industry experts. It is designed for hospitals and institutions that are at maximum capacity to provide additional space for patients who need to be quarantined.
Currently, the EQF Team is collectively pushing to build a total of 62 EQFs within and outside Metro Manila.
The two EQFs located at the V. Luna General Hospital were made possible through the funding of SM Foundation and Tayô, Táyo! Fundraiser (STCQC), with Mr. Wilfredo S. Pico and Peta Bena of Metalink Team leading the construction site.
