WTA wins Architectural Conceptual Design Contest for the Diliman Property
The Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation (PSALM) launched a contest open to local and international architectural firms to come up with the best and most energy-efficient conceptual designs.
WTA Architecture and Design Studio was declared as the winning design for the Architectural Conceptual Design Contest for the Diliman Property on July 5, 2019.
The East Grid, the winning design, is a 5-hectare multidimensional masterplan for a holistic and sustainable workplace environment. It reflects the tropical and egalitarian aspects of the Filipino community. The development traces a strong narrative from the existing heritage structures that extends vertically and redefined the current urban skyline. The entire site acts as a connective tissue that brings together the varying aspects and needs of the community. It centers on strong social and pedestrian interactions as the core of a modern and thriving commercial district.
