It has been quite a journey for the Anthology Architecture and Design Festival Team. Already on its 5thyear in 2020, Anthology Festival aims to reestablish architecture as the foundation of our spatial environment. With William Ti, Jr. as the event curator this year, the topics for the Anthology Talks, Shelter Dialogues, and Anthology Raw are bound to go deeper as we THINK deeper about architecture and its role in developing new approaches that define our changing relationships with the physical world. William, in effect, had coined the theme to be “Think Architecture.”
As we explore deeper into our physical world, we must learn about the various perspectives that affect and play a role in how architecture and design can sculpt a world adaptive to these changing times. Architects from WTA Architecture and Design Studio form the team behind the three-day event, and they have put together topics that will encourage us to think about the architecture of our everyday lives, think about its craftsmanship and urge us to discover the art behind physical forms and ideas. Through a thorough dissection and discussion of all this, Anthology aims to leave everyone with a deeper understanding of architecture and a motive to learn how to mold it and realign it with our changing times.
Aside from the Anthology Talks, Shelter Dialogues, Anthology Raw, Anthology Sessions, and Anthology Workshops, there will be competitions for students and professionals alike as well as design installations and exhibitions by participating architecture firms and speakers. These will be available for the public to view. Anthology Festival 2020 has so much in store for those attending. There’s no doubt that the Anthology team had put a good amount of time into crafting an exciting, thought-provoking and interactive festival worth looking forward to in 2020!
