Design Development

This 3-storey rest house sits in a corner lot, overlooking the shores of Nasugbu, Batangas. It houses 4 bedrooms and a guest room, each with their own view of the beach. The house’s design takes inspiration from traditional Filipino and Southeast Asian dwellings, planned in accordance with the environment’s natural air and light. Modern touches mold these age-old design principles into a cleaner, more minimal form, combined with a simple set of natural textures around its facade.
