This competition entry focused on cultivating a positive learning space for the new campus School of Medicine in CUHK Shenzhen. The aim is to re-appropriate the library typology as a sprawling structure interconnected by activity nodes.
Taking inspiration from Chinese Medicine and the concept of Meridian lines, the flow of knowledge and learning is considered to be the life force of the university. By creating
a harmonious setting for social architecture surrounded by nature; students are encouraged to utilize the library as a common social ground.
