AFP, EQF Project Team turnover new quarantine facility to ARMMC

PASIG CITY, May 5 (PIA) – The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Marikina City Government, and WTA Architecture+Design Studio turned over five emergency quarantine facilities (EQF) to Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center (ARMMC) in Marikina City on Monday, May 4.
AFP Inspector General LtGen Ramon Ang Lim together with Marikina City Mayor Marcy Teodoro, AFP Chief Engineer MGen William Ilagan, 51st Engineering Brigade’s BGen Emmanuel Anthony Ramos, and WTA’s Architect William Ti Jr. led the turnover ceremony. The 120-bed capacity emergency quarantine facilities (EQF) were funded by the Marikina City Government and partly by United Architects of the Philippines-Manila Chapter. The AFP’s Office of The Chief Engineer led by MGen William Ilagan and volunteers Danny Ko and Leah Longalong led the construction of the EQFs. Lt. Gen. Lim expressed his gratitude to those who extended their support. “The AFP deeply appreciates this assistance and partnership. We hope that this will continue to inspire everyone to contribute in winning this challenge.”
